App: How do I automatically add items from Safari or a store's app to Giftster on the iOS app?

Add items with the Safari Share Sheet

1. On your phone, open up Safari.
2. Search for your favorite store's website or app.
3. Find a specific product you'd like to add to your wish list.
4. On the bottom toolbar of Safari, (or on your store app's product page) tap the share icon (square with arrow pointing up).
5. In the third row look for Giftster in the app icons, if you don't see it scroll right and tap More…
6. Under Suggestions, find Giftster and tap it to add it to your share sheet (it might be at the bottom of the list).
7. Tap Done.
8. Tap the Giftster app icon in your share sheet.
9. Select the list you want to add the item to.
10. Edit any details you wish, including adding a star ranking.
11. Tap save to Giftster and voila, you're done!

Note: This feature is currently only available on the fall 2023 iOS app for Giftster.

Add items from a retailer's app

You can add items to your Giftster wish list from many retailer's apps too.

1. Open up your favorite store's app, say, for example, Walmart or Target.
2. Find an item you'd like to add.
3. Tap the share icon (see above). This will bring up your iPhone's share sheet.
4. Tap the Giftster app icon in your share sheet (see above for instructions on how to add it).
5. Select the list you want to add the item to.
6. Edit any details you wish, including adding a star ranking.
7. Tap save to Giftster and voila, you're done!
