How can I tell if a gift has already been purchased?

Each item has a status next to it: Available, Reserved or Purchased. 

• If the item shows Available, at least one of the quantity requested is available for you to reserve and buy. 
• If it is marked Reserved, someone else has it reserved for purchase and it is unavailable to you.
• If it is marked Purchased, the item has been purchased, and it is unavailable to you.

When an item is taken, to make it clear to others, the reserve and purchase buttons are hidden on that item, the background color of the row is changed, and the text "unavailable" shows.  This is how Giftster helps you avoid giving duplicate gifts. (By default the list maker doesn't see these statuses unless the list is in a Child Account).
